Elon Musk has gone viral after calling for President Donald Trump’s impeachment and linking him to the Jeffrey Epstein papers. In a tweet, Musk agreed with a post suggesting Trump be replaced by Vice President JD Vance.
This marks a major fallout between Musk and Trump, just days after Musk resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Adding fuel to the fire, an old photo of Musk wearing a “Trump was right about everything” hat resurfaced online, with many mocking it as “aged like milk.”
The feud appears to have started over Trump’s controversial “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which exempts Social Security, overtime, and tips from taxes. Musk reportedly opposed parts of the bill.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded by calling Musk’s outburst “an unfortunate episode” and defended the bill as key to cutting government waste. She later reiterated on Fox News that while Musk can speak for his companies, Trump must fight for the country.
