Authorities are reportedly investigating an alleged altercation involving Reacher star Alan Ritchson and a neighbor in Tennessee.
According to footage obtained by TMZ and released on Sunday (March 22), video filmed from a nearby home appears to show Ritchson striking a man and knocking him to the ground. Two children—allegedly the actor’s—can be seen nearby on motorbikes.
The neighbor, identified as Ronnie Taylor, told TMZ the conflict began the day before, on Saturday (March 21), when Ritchson was allegedly riding a dirt bike at what he described as “excessive speed” through the neighborhood. Taylor claimed he made a rude gesture toward the actor after the bike was revved, which Ritchson allegedly returned.

Taylor further alleged that Ritchson came back to the area on Sunday around midday, this time accompanied by his children on motorbikes. When Taylor confronted him and asked him to stop, the situation allegedly escalated. He claims Ritchson punched him in the face, knocked him to the ground and continued striking him, leaving him with visible swelling and bruising. Taylor said he did not seek hospital treatment.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that authorities are currently looking into the incident. No arrests have been made at this time.
Alan Ritchson is an American actor, model and producer best known for his role as Jack Reacher in the hit Prime Video series Reacher. Born on November 28, 1982, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, he was raised in Florida and initially gained attention as a contestant on American Idol in 2004.
Ritchson began his acting career portraying Aquaman/Arthur Curry on the TV series Smallville, before landing roles in Blue Mountain State, where he played Thad Castle, and later in Titans as Hank Hall/Hawk. He also appeared in films such as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and starred as Raphael in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.
In recent years, Ritchson’s career reached new heights with Reacher, earning praise for his physical performance and leading-man presence. Beyond acting, he has worked as a director and producer on several projects.
